About the Author

Here are some basics about me, Aaron E. Sharp. Not to be confused with Aaron D. Sharp. I used to get Aaron D. Sharp's Dillards bill, and apparently he has some outstanding tickets in the state of Pennsylvania, but that is in fact, not me. I am a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. It took me 7 years to get my 120 hour Master of Theology degree there. Jacob worked 7 years and got a wife. I spent 7 years at DTS and got a degree and a wife. Take that Jacob. Speaking of my wife I am married to Elaina, the cutest, smartest little woman in the world. She is also has a Th.M. from DTS, although it only took her 6 years. At the end of our first date I asked Elaina out for another date, she said no. After that we worked on a chart of the book of Genesis together for Old Testament history class. By the end of the project we were dating. We like to think that we found love in Genesis. I personally am just glad the chart was not on the book of Leviticus, no one finds love in Leviticus. On April 20th of 2011 Elaina and I were privileged to welcome our adorable son, Micah Haddon, into the world. He was three and a half weeks early because apparently he had places to go, people to see, and things to do. So far we know that he is stubborn and independent like me and that he uses his bottom lip to make a very pitiful pouty face like his mom. Frequently I blog about Micah's exploits, something that will no doubt come back to bite me in the rear end some day. We three Sharps live north of Dallas, Texas, with our puppy, Ruthie Jo. Ruthie Jo is 3 pounds of fury who thinks that the world exists to further her desire to play fetch. If you do not play with her then she will just throw her food across the room and fetch it herself. My first book, I Didn't Sign Up for This, was nominated for numerous awards including "Best book ever written by Aaron Sharp," and "My Mom's Favorite Book." No doubt there are more to come.
