Every year I look forward to my opportunity to serve as a short term missionary in Honduras. It is the hilight of the year for my wife and I. This book details the circumstances and events of our mission trip to Honduras in Central America in 2011. We provide medical, dental. and optical care to the poor in various communities. In addition We interact with the local children providing songs, hair washing, lice removal. and dressing the girl's hair with ribbons. All adults and children will hear a gospel message and be given an opportunity to respond. The Nature of the local organization called World Gospel Outreach based in Tegucigalpa Honduras is to bring together North Americans from various denominations to serve in a 3rd World country providing medical assistance and an opportunity to learn about Jesus. There is a three fold purpose in these mission trips. First is that the North Americans Christians are exposed to 3rd World poverty close up which has a profound affect on them. Second is the opportunity to serve the poor and tend to their physical medical needs. Finally and most most importantly is spiritual lesson and the opportunity to connect the Honduran people to the Jesus of the bible, and offer an opportunity of eternal salvation.
