About the Author

Jane Hardwicke Collings is an independent midwife from the Southern Highlands, NSW, Australia, who has been attending homebirths since 1984. She is herself a homebirth mother, a grandmother and a teacher of the Women's Mysteries. Jane is founder and Midwife of The School of Shamanic Midwifery. Jane gives workshops called Moonsong about the ancient wisdom of the cycles, Pregnancy - The Inner Journey and Maiden Moonsong - for girls.
