1972 and Danno Garland stands atop the wrestling business. After years of planning, backstabbing and shady handshakes, he controls the World Heavyweight Champion and most of the territories where he can wrestle. And in his business, the man who controls the Champion controls the money and the power that goes with it. Danno finally made it to the top of a closely guarded, cash business. And it means nothing. Not now. Not anymore. Not since he was informed of what happened in that small hotel room in Texas. Fuck the business. Lenny Long has just skipped out on Danno’s territory for a different life with his family. After living on the road he wants to re-introduce himself to his young children. But before he can truly settle out west, he needs to make things right in New York. And he’s going to do it by returning a bag full of money to its rightful owner. A move that lands Lenny in the middle of a bloody clash to protect the secrecy, and the continued survival of the longest con in American history. Problem is, they’re now trying to protect it from Danno Garland.

Review:
"O'Brien continues to astound" - Collar and Elbow

"Paul O'Brien has done it again! But this time, he's done it even better. With sharply drawn characters that any wrestling fan will feel like they know, and non-fans will wish they did, O'Brien's second journey into the world of 1970's territorial wrestling - noble and seedy, loyal and cut-throat, confident and desperate - provide him. Give it a try, and see if the name Shane "Sugarstick" Montrose doesn't stay with you for a while. A must-read for any wrestling fan, and a should-read for any adventurous fan of crime-fiction." - WWE Legend and Hall of Famer, Mick Foley

"Having read both installments of Paul's books about my profession I'm firstly in such awe of the research that has gone into them, (and which grassing get has given him far to many inside details.) Coming from a time when protecting the business was drummed into me, so knowing how this time period was operated, I was fascinated by the tales. Gripping stories, great characters and villains. I love these books. My cup of tea with two sugars." - WWE Superstar, William Regal

"a non-stop thrill ride...a gem from cover to cover" - The Wrestling Observer

"Loved it! The inside knowledge on the wrestling business is amazing." - IWGP Champion 'Prince' Fergal Devitt
