Julie grew up in the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in southeastern Oklahoma and is now an active member of the First United Methodist Church in central Missouri. Julie has been a teacher for over 20 years, but her biggest claim to fame is her family – husband, Mark; son, Nicholas; son, Max; daughter, Erin, and granddaughter, Alayna. During an extreme crisis of faith, Julie came to realize God’s merciful, all-encompassing love. She is excited to share not only her story but to help others find their own. When she's not spending time with her family, Julie loves reading, writing, computers, tennis, her yellow lab, and spending mornings on her front porch with her sister and a big cup of coffee.
