In Sandy Flats, Kentucky, before she could recover from a cruel and violent fifteen-year first marriage, Natalie gets caught by a con artist as his eleventh wife. To the dismay of her mother, she goes off to live with Paul. This thought provoking work takes the reader on a journey inside the mind of a domestic violence victim. It captures a true victim's story... the horror of the abuse, the elation, infatuation, and finally the realization that in order to survive, Natalie must break free from Paul. "This story of abuse is totally captivating. Truly a page turner, I could not stop reading once I began this journey." - A Victim's Advocate
