About the Author:

Joshua Edward Byrd Sr. was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, his Master’s degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, and his Juris Doctor degree at North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina. Joshua is married to Nijia Byrd and is the proud father of two beautiful children, Naomi Byrd and Joshua Byrd Jr. As a writer, Joshua strives to inspire people to reach their full potential and enjoys delivering motivational messages and sharing his poetry during spoken word performances. He lives every day with a simple goal in mind... helping others.
