From the Author:
Who are you? Someday someone will ask themselves that question when considering your memory. What if you're not there to answer? With "The Secret Me" journal series, you always can be. This small investment ensures that your life experience, in your own words, carries on long into the future.
I lost a grandmother and grandfather before reaching my teen years. As my recollection of them slowly began fading, I wished the world had offered them better means of preserving their own perspectives for me to sift through, and learn from. This longing drove me to begin dreaming up these journals, and I'm overjoyed to say that I now make a living taking feedback from and bringing comfort to people much like myself.
After selling thousands upon thousands of journals, this series now contains over 20 original keepsakes. I've continued to bring frequent improvements to my supporters for more than five years now. This self-published series has done so well that Barnes & Nobles asked me to sign a major book deal with their company. That title is now being distributed worldwide, and can be found in most major bookstores.
It has been one of the great pleasures of my life to see people using these guided diaries for everything from self-improvement to conversation starters at social events. The journaling community has been an inspiration; driving me to look for new ways to keep delivering consistently better products. While I'm not the first, and certainly won't be the last to publish a gift book, you'll be hard-pressed to find another author as passionate about the encounters I want for my fans. I make sure that every journal I publish is one I want to fill out, myself.
Maybe you're someone who wants to answer each prompt with a paragraph. I've got you covered. Maybe you only want to express yourself by circling numbers to rate things. There's a journal for that. Perhaps you're big on making lists, living in imaginary worlds, laughing at nonsense, or even letting other people answer questions about you. "The Secret Me" series checks all of those boxes, and I am far from finished with bringing you new adventures. You can settle into journaling with me, knowing that almost every entry is fully different from the others, and that something new will be on the horizon for a long time to come.
Please make time to share your story with someone in the world. It doesn't have to be with me, so long as your legacy doesn't end up forgotten. I know what it's like to want for stronger ties to those who are gone, and not be able to satisfy those desires. The stamps we leave upon this world could and should be so much more.
If you're someone who's trying to bring greater beauty, truth, and laughter into the world, then I welcome you into mine with open arms. Feel free to engage with me on YouTube, Twitter, or Facebook. I love hearing about the time you spend with these books. So come find me on the web, and let's talk about the wild ride we're all on. Send a friend my way too if you enjoy what I do.
All the best,
-SW
Please note that this journal is not designed for use by children, or adults uncomfortable with moral quandaries. It poses a number of questions aimed at highlighting your deepest values by forcing a choice between two inherently problematic propositions. There are also instances of prompts designed to examine your ethical limits with regard to the acquisition of money. Therefore it is recommended that you not purchase this journal if you are easily offended by candid inquiries.
