About the Author
Joy DeKok had no idea when she moved to the country that God was about to transform two of her dreams into her reality; He surrounded her by the wildlife she loves, and she became a published author. Under His Wings are the stories and lessons learned from God that she recorded in her journal. She lives on thirty-five acres of woods and field with her husband Jon and their dogs, Sophie and Tucker. Joy DeKok has spent a lifetime worshipping God and watching birds. In this little book she combines the two into a delightful devotional. Each entry features an experience which the author has had with a particular kind of bird and what she has learned about God from that experience. There are also Scripture verses and tips on taking care of wild birds at the end of each section. This is a lovely book for birders, birdwatchers, and all who enjoy God's creation. --Karen Potts
