After 40 years as a dental school Professor, the author retired; he and his wife sold their home and moved to North Carolina in order to be close to their Granddaughter, Kristi. Granddaddy and Kristi spent many hours together in the car and she often said, "Tell me a story, Granddaddy." The stories he told her were about the stuffed animals that were part of her "family." A main character in all of the stories is Teddy, the Wonderful One-Eyed Teddy Bear. The stories were recorded on a digital voice recorder as they were being told. Then they were transcribed and edited by the author. The sole reason for this effort was to preserve the stories for Kristi's future children and grandchildren. The stories are being published in the hope that other children and adults will enjoy them as well.
