It is different from the other three gospels. John’s gospel is a profound witness to Christ as the Son of God. Yet it is easy to read—the reason new Christians are asked to begin reading the Bible by starting with John. John is the deepest gospel of all; it brings us closer to Jesus than any other. Before joining Prairie View, he taught at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, and Temple University, Philadelphia.
