Dr. Irving Cotto Perez is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. He is currently a District Superintendent in that denomination. He has served as parish pastor for close to 40 years. A worship leader, composer, and educator. He leads workshops on Worship and Leadership nationwide. An accomplished musician, Dr. Cotto is the author of teaching modules for Lay Missioners with the National Plan for Hispanic/Latino Ministries in the United Methodist Church. He is a graduate of the Bayamon Central University (B.A. in Psychology), the Union Theological Seminary in New York City (M.Div. Practical Theology), the former Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min. Pastoral and Mission Studies), and the Neumann University in Aston, PA (M.S. Pastoral Care and Counseling) and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Theology with the Graduate Theological Foundation. He is a member and prior in the Order of Saint Luke (UM Church).
