Synopsis

EarthCentre:The End of The Universe. New edition with photo-illustration and text notes critically updated. An Anthropic Odyssey An eschatological mystery re-solved: EarthCentre: The End of the Universe. An Epic drama. Anthropic Odyssey/Mystery. Part One. An epic funfairgroundride through the EarthCentre theme park of the past present and future...world mythology and religion, cosmology and the human sciences. Catastrophic solar and galactic apocalyptic events take the stage, as: The Life-Ship StarShip: departs for: The Greatest Journey through The-Galaxy and into The Universe beyond. The author and reader by participation, deal with matters of liberty, life and love, and the constant presence and inevitability of death and oblivion along The-Way. With the ultimate end in sight, certainty about the purpose of life in the Universe, gives way to uncertainty and the age old dream of immortality and moral matters of Good or Evil take centre stage, with consequences which from the beginning...were never in doubt. Heaven and Hell: traveled and uneventually explains The Universe in terms of our own anthropic understanding of free-will, empowerment and purpose. Begin: The Ultimate Journey To: The End of the Universe. EarthCentre: The End of The Universe is a radical re-working of world mythology ancient classical and modern linked to scientific discovery and technology to the present day, and the future beyond... In this highly original work the author has attained an insightful and encompassing global convergence of Universal proportions taking on the perennial concerns of historians and philosophers, artists and practical people; of the psycho-social yearning for power through immediate needs and choices; for children, and legacy for immortality. Creation myths across continents merge with the anthropology of human origins and story-telling in experience and thought; of embattled humanity, gender, and the existential condition. EarthCentre: The End of the Universe: Being: a topological themed funfair mystery ride through: The Cosmos; with dialogue and commentary to be spoken or read in parts at a smooth and rapid-pace and then again slower as an echo in memory and in voices and verses selected by the speaker/reader... 1.1. About the Author

Malcolm Stow was born in Walthamstow, Essex, England at that time, now London E.17. his parents and siblings families all of Bethnal Green, and Bow, in the then county of Middlesex. Malcolm went to school in Chingford E.4. after failing the 11-plus examination, but was fortunate to attend a Comprehensive Secondary School, for A-levels. However, he was unfortunate enough to not recieve the pass grades sufficient for any university, despite visiting Newcastle, and Warwick, to study philosphy, politics and history.
Malcolm travelled instead, having qualified as a plumber and working for himself for a while on building sites and house maintainance around London and Essex.
Having lived and worked in France, on the Vendange (grape-picking, in this instance mainly for eating grapes) near Toulouse, France. Working on a melon farm later, picking, then onto the coast to meet the family and settle at a cottage on the furthest west coast of Brittany.
Later, with a son and daughter and on returning to Leyton, and then Leytonstone on the Cathall Road estate. Malcolm worked at various factory and driving jobs, before in his late twenties returning to study Philosphy at London University. He gained an honours degree in Philosphy, and became a social worker, working with children and adults who are disabled (by society!) Later recieving an MA in Social Science Policy and Research, Malcolm has completed the books he has written during this time 5 in all and novels and epic poetry, if I say so myself.
Malcolm is friends with the artist Jullie Umerle, the graphic designer Morgan McDonald, and sound engineer Thomas Stow.
