Synopsis
A day arises when you are hit by a dreaded realisation. A collection of discarded thoughts assemble and point towards something unconventionally different. That Three Letter Word is a diary of poems written by a boy who was unaware of the changes that would slowly surface and inevitably transform him into a gay man. Using poetry and song, this unique collection captures a real life transition by someone trying to control and come to terms with being attracted to the same sex. From rejecting his dark teenage thoughts to exploring his sexuality, this diary contains the confused and often conflicting feelings he wrote along his journey of discovery. A refreshing and witty view of the world, through the eyes of a boy who just wants to love another boy. This mishmash of emotion includes his feelings of denial, excitement, lust, love, jealousy and being lost. After fighting with his subconscious he then deals with issues of coming out, homophobia and exploring the electrifying gay club scene. Justin Williams gives a beautiful insight into the fragile but fond years of a man's life through his rhyming diary. That Three Letter Word opens with Justin's first diary entry at the age of sweet sixteen. He is content in a loving relationship with his girlfriend although forbidden desires are beginning to stir.

About the Author
Justin Williams is a writer and poet who graduated from The Leeds Metropolitan University with a First-class honours degree. He lives in London, UK and works in the media industry. Justin is a baking enthusiast and gym fanatic. He regularly updates his online blog discussing poetry from the past and present, that three letter word. Since his early teens Justin has kept a diary of poems which he wrote during his struggle with his sexuality.
