While receiving a B.S. Physics degree from U of Illinois at Chicago, Arash Amini started a Think Tank to research and develop emerging business concepts for the Chicagoland market. Out of this framework, 312 Aquaponics LLC (312ap.com) was ideated and developed. 312 Aquaponics was funded to design, construct, and operate the most advanced indoor aquaponic system in America. Amini has since started a new company called FarmTower Co. that is standardizing indoor farming. He is also interested in the theory of innovation and entrepreneurship in general and can be found teaching classes in starting a social enterprise and speaking at forums on economic development. Amini has spoken on Fox Chicago, CBS Chicago, Fox Business Channel, WGN Chicago; his works have been mentioned by Mayor Emanuel; And Amini has spoken at regional Economic Development Conferences on Innovation and Green Construction.
