Although Buried Threads is the second book in my Threads series, it truly stands alone. For many years, I've been able to travel to Japan and have enjoyed meeting and developing relationships with geikos and maikos within the walls of Gion's hidden world. Although I've taken these experiences for granted, I've recently come to realize what an amazing life I've lead and how these remarkable interactions have opened my eyes and enriched my life.
