About the Author

Robert Pater lives in northeast Florida with his wife Kathie and cat’s Chewy, Gracie, and Squeaks. He enjoys gardening and golfing, fishing and traveling, and writing. Graduating from Florida State University in 1973, his work life took many twists and turns before settling in with a large international company for nearly twenty six years, the last five of which were involved with environmental reclamation. His first two works in the J.D. Hansen series, Targets: The Group Of Five and Targets: Separated At Death, have been well received by the public. The fourth in the series, Targets: One If By Land, is now in the research phase and is due out in 2014.
