Synopsis

Recently in our Church we have been teaching on Faith and began to look at the subject of employing the Word of GOD accurately in life situations. As the HOLY SPIRIT would have it, we got onto the subject of immigration, a challenge that many people are face in any country. After the service I asked a congregation member about the scriptures they were standing on in regards to their immigration status and received a rather unfocused, non targeted and non-specific scripture that couldn’t even stir up the person concerned. I walked away wondering, how could the Word accomplish what is hoped for in that person’s life? How could it stir up their faith? How could it get the results desired? Those questions and more spurred me to write this book to help every Christian in need of targeted scriptures and prayer, especially in the area of immigration case. The aim of this book is not to discuss the political implication of illegal immigrants and their associated problems nor is it written to fully discuss the human rights laws that relate to border restrictions. My aim is to offer those who want to rely on GOD through JESUS CHRIST targeted and effective help through the WORD to guide them through this tremendously difficult and unsettling challenge. I have tried to communicate what I believe is GOD’s heart on this matter of Immigration. I believe that the will of GOD is that all men should be free to live where they choose. This freedom does not give the Christian the right to violate the rules laid down by any government according to Romans 13 but this freedom indicates that GOD is willing to intervene in immigration matter that concern his children. Over the years I have noticed how the average believer with immigration issues shifts their focus away from GOD and onto solicitors, government officials and worldly systems to get a ‘breakthrough’. However, this is not GOD’s will for us. HIS desire as, our HEAVENLY FATHER, is to make provision for ALL our needs according to HIS riches in glory in CHRIST JESUS! He doesn't want the believer to lean on anyone else but HIM! Unfortunately, many believers follow the pattern of the world in an effort to end the distress of being forcefully removed or to gain some form of control over their present situation. The methods employed include: 1.Illegal marriages 2.Obtaining false documents 3.Fraudulently using someone else’s documents to get work, properties, loans, etc… And numerous other shameful acts that do not glorify GOD. What such people offer as ‘Testimonies’ of getting a breakthrough regarding their status are actually ‘Testiphonies!’ GOD is still in business of doing amazing miracles for HIS children. This includes supernaturally establishing His people in any particular country on this earth. After all, ‘the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof!’ (Ps 24:1 KJV) Does GOD Want You To Stay or Not? People often pose this question or comment, “Suppose GOD does not want you to stay in the country you’re currently struggling to reside in? Why insist on staying? I think these are absolutely valid questions, and the first thing any believer should resolve in their mind is whether GOD wants them to stay in that country or not.
