Unlimited Doubles!! is THE GUIDE for self-directed doubles tennis players who want to gain control of their game. Whether you're a 3.0 on the move to 3.5, a 4.5 headed for 5.0 or just starting, Unlimited Doubles!! will be of significant help in your journey.
Steve Tourdo's revolutionary "Point Control System" empowers players by teaching them how to gain control of the action on-court. This system enables players to build a high-level doubles game. The lessons begin simply and then build in sophistication. Each lesson spells out a well-defined objective and is followed by easy-to-understand instructions of how to reach that objective. All lessons end with summaries and on-court drills to help you integrate what you've learned into your own game.

As a teacher, I often find there's a difference between what a student wants and what they need. What a student wants is to be able to hold serve, break serve, handle lobbers and do some poaching. What they need (to get what they want) is a solid understanding of how fundamentals affect the tactical flow of points. In Unlimited Doubles!!, you'll get both what you want and what you need. Enjoy!
Born and raised in Bernardsville, New Jersey, Steve Tourdo began playing tennis at age ten and gave his first lesson at 16.
Success as a junior player landed him the New Jersey State Interscholastic Singles Champion and a tennis scholarship at the University of Nevada. After college, Steve gained world rankings in both singles and doubles on the professional circuit.
Steve is pleased to present in this book a lifetime of doubles coaching experience to help enable players to further enjoy the sport and specifically the game of doubles.
