Everyone wants their children to be super healthy, and Karen Ranzi has the recipe. She is an author, speaker, speech therapist, raw food coach and raw vegan chef. Raw vegan since 1994, Karen has authored and published her groundbreaking book, Creating Healthy Children: Through Attachment Parenting and Raw Foods in 2010. Karen travels throughout the United States and abroad delivering her impassioned message about raising healthy families. For the past 15 years, she has presented for universities, schools, health institutes, expos, libraries, festivals and associations. In June 2012, Karen was the keynote speaker at the "Health Congress 'Flowers of Life,'" south of Moscow, organized by the Russian Association of The Raw Food Movement and Naturopathy. She was a featured speaker for the London Vegfest 2013 and the Toronto Raw Vegan Festival 2013. Karen is a pioneer presenter at The Woodstock Fruit Festival since 2011, and was a featured speaker at the 2013 and 2014 Raw Living Expo. Her new book is titled Raw Vegan Recipe Fun for Families: 115 Easy Recipes and Health Tips for Energetic Living, published January 2014. Karen writes about raising healthy families for Get Fresh Magazine, VegWorld Magazine, Vibrance Magazine, Super Raw Life Magazine, and Eternity Watch Magazine. She has been interviewed on numerous radio and TV programs as a featured guest, including several episodes on Dr. Gary Null’s Progressive Radio Network, Main Street Vegan Radio with Victoria Moran, Interviews with the Raw Vegan Masters with Steven Prussack, The Conscious Parenting Summit with Matthew Monarch, The Conscious Foods Summit, and is seen on 14 cable networks on The Living Healthy Show. Every June, Karen supervises 20 speech therapy graduate students from northeastern universities as they work with autistic children at Camp Kaleidoscope of Vermont, a unique program for autistic children and their families. Karen increases her students’ awareness of the impact of whole food vegan nutrition on the children’s health, which includes the benefits of a gluten-free/dairy-free lifestyle, eliminating processed foods and increasing fresh raw plant foods. Karen found the natural path that enabled her son to heal from asthma, chronic ear infections and multiple food allergies in 1994. By means of her education, life-changing personal experiences and sincere desire to share her message, Karen has been able to guide thousands of individuals and families toward developing excellent health.
