About the Author

Matthias Friedrich has worked at NTT DATA Business Solution GBMS GmbH since 2008, where he is responsible for the global innovation and optimization service area. With a global team, he supports customers in the expansion, optimization, and development of existing and new applications and their integration into business processes. He is a business IT specialist and began his career in 1998 at SAP Systems Integration AG in Dresden. The focus of his work was on the analysis and development of IT service and change management concepts, the coordination of resulting national and international projects, and the implementation of exciting product ideas.

Fred Kindler has a degree in business informatics and began his career at NTT DATA Business Solution GBMS GmbH in Dresden in 2011. In addition to consulting in the field of ALM, he is currently responsible for managing an ALM team and for the global topic of application transition in the application solution advisory division. His focus is on advising on ALM processes required to implement hybrid landscapes in the cloud.

Marcel Kirsten has worked at NTT DATA Business Solutions GBMS GmbH in Dresden since 2016. Since completing his master's degree at Chemnitz University of Technology, he has been working as a consultant in the field of application lifecycle management with a focus on application operations. In addition to supporting implementation projects in the SAP Solution Manager 7.2 environment, he is also responsible for the development and implementation of monitoring services in the context of SAP Focused Run. Since 2020, his areas of expertise have also included SAP Cloud ALM. He advises and supports customers on the introduction and implementation of SAP Cloud ALM in their landscapes.

Daniel Kloppich is an expert in application lifecycle management at NTT DATA Business Solutions GBMS GmbH in Dresden. He is responsible for IT service management in hybrid landscapes with a focus on process consulting for transition and operations on a global level. He began his career in 2009 as a consultant at Comarch AG in the telecommunications division. Prior to this, he studied media informatics at the Technical University of Dresden.

Mathias List is an ALM expert with many years of experience and has been working for NTT DATA Business Solutions GBMS GmbH since 2022. He began his career in 2008 as an SAP consultant for SAP Solution Manager at BIT Group GmbH. There he developed his expertise in the field of IT service management and change and release management. In his national and international consulting and implementation projects, he uses methodological approaches such as ITIL and Scrum. He is the author of two SAP PRESS books about IT service management with SAP Solution Manager. He uses his knowledge and experience in projects relating to ALM solutions such as SAP Cloud ALM. Mathias studied business informatics at BA Bautzen.

Bert Lorenz is a development consultant at NTT DATA Business Solutions GBMS GmbH and has already supported more than 100 customers in the areas of SAP Business Technology Platform, automation, low code, integration, and application lifecycle management. At NTT DATA Business Solutions, he is responsible for global development operations within the SAP and application services division and is committed to the continuous integration of the methodology into the business area.

Lars Teuber has worked at NTT DATA Business Solutions GBMS GmbH in Dresden since 2008. He has degrees in economics and engineering in data and information technology. He has managed projects in the entire application lifecycle management environment since 2005. Since 2020, he has also supported the transformation of ALM processes to SAP Cloud ALM. His expertise lies in the optimization of ALM processes using tools such as SAP Solution Manager and SAP Focused Run.
