Manipulation of memories and dreams is a really fascinating concept and Williams knows how to make it interesting. Just as sophisticated and clever as the first installment of this YA survival story. Emari is a great character with strength and confidence but also some weakness, her adventure as a rock star is quite convincingly portrayed and the dark paranormal aspects of the story unfold nicely throughout the book. Very clever and very enjoyable.

The writing is just really strong. I love the realistic performance scenes. So the story is cool, the characters you want to root for, the dream sequences are completely riveting, and, most important of all, Williams is just a flat-out good writer--better than most in this genre.

Katelyn Hensel for Readers' Favorite 5 Stars The 2nd book in the Dream Weaver series by the talented Su Williams. The writing style was unique & different...both captivating & something that I haven't experienced lately. I love the kind of pseudo-scientific supernatural quality...regarding the manipulation of memories...an Inception-esque quality. The mind is mysterious, dreams & memories are 1 of the remaining mysteries left. Williams continues to tap into this...with aplomb & skill. William's writing style is a lot stronger than many in the YA genre so this was quite the pleasure to read.
