"Reading this book was like listening to a friend giving gentle advice - tips the author learned from his own walk through grief. The title focuses on the holidays, but the tactics ring true for any time of year. I recommend this book with no hesitation and have already shared several copies with friends facing grief from various causes." - Kelli Reynolds, Mays Business School, Texas A&M University
"In this world we live in we expect answers for everything to be at our fingertips immediately. However, there is no search engine that can explain to you how to stop hurting. No website that can replace love that's been lost. Gary provides a beacon of hope. If you are hurting, empty, brokenhearted or the thought of this holiday season leaves dread in your heart because it will only remind you of what has been lost, please, please buy this book and take the time to really sit down with it. I highly doubt you will start and end in the same place."- Rebecca Brooks, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
