About the Author:

Eric R. Smith was born in Washington, North Carolina in 1974. After attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, he moved to Asheboro NC to focus on a Mechanical Drafting career. It was through a part time job at a drugstore that he met his future wife, Lorrie Strickland. They married in 1997 and had their only son Luke in 2002. Eric worked in several manufacturing areas as a designer. He returned to college in 2012 to receive his Bachelors Degree from East Carolina University. He currently works as a Design Engineer with BE Aerospace in Winston Salem, NC. Eric enjoys spending time with his family, movies, and airbrushing in his spare time.
