About the Author

Congregations in Berkeley, San Diego, Scottsdale, and Jerusalem have laughed at William Finn’s Unorthodox Torah lectures. His humorous work has appeared in the Jewish Frontier, Jewish Currents, New Menorah, and Funny Times. His column in the San Diego Jewish Journal recounted his comic adventures in Israel and appeared in book form as "Where Will the Atheists Pray?" Currently, he and his wife, Linda Elyad, reside in Southern California, where he teaches Torah at Temple Beth David. He makes a living as a marketing writer specializing in technical topics. He can be reached at unorthodoxtorah@gmail.com. About the illustrator: David Finn is co-founder and chairman of Ruder Finn, Inc., With 104 books to his credit, he is also an accomplished photographer of sculpture, a painter, and a writer on art.
