Advance praise for "Salsa!" from around the world...
"Fun, pleasant, enjoyable and uplifting reading experience. This book gives me an immediate inspiration to join in the next salsa class and be proud of what I am and love doing - dancing! I am not a great dancer, but I have a great desire to be one, and this book helped me to believe that there is nothing to stop me becoming one!"
"An inspiring, easy-to-read, adorable little book with a fine sense of humour and lots of knowledge, tips & advice... If I never danced salsa before, I would certainly start after reading your book!!!"
"Great appraisal for Salsa! The book gives you an idea not only about dancing, the moves and the origins, it opens the door to essential understanding of hidden messages and interpretations of a dance as a living dialogue between two souls and bodies. If you want to learn how to 'read' people on a dance floor, what to expect from other dancers, and how to respond accordingly, this is a book for you! The beautiful way of putting moves into words that could never have been!"
"Whether you are a total beginner, or a dancer with years of experience, or someone who has nothing to do with dancing - this book has something for everyone to read, enjoy and smile."

I wrote "Salsa" at the suggestion and encouragement of my friends who also dance salsa to try and help others who are beginning, or seeking to improve... I wanted to try and combine lots of little tips, suggestions, helpful hints into one place - kind of a 'behind the scenes' notebook about dancing which you might not get in dance classes as they are geared towards teaching 'moves' - this is not a 'step-by-step' book how to dance (that is what classes are for ;) hopefully this will supplement your classes and/or dancing and 'take you one step further'... Have fun!
Daniel has led a wild & crazy life as a professional percussionist in everything from Latin wedding bands to classical orchestras and jazz choirs... even opening for the "Dead Kennedy's"! He studied high school in Denmark, worked for George Lucas, lectured in music at university, owned his own photography studio and is now living in Sydney, Australia, dancing salsa, rueda and bachata on the beach and in front of the opera house, helping as many people as he can to get up and dance!
