Synopsis

Follow Thomas McAllen and his family from Edinburg, Scotland across the cold Atlantic in 1743 to follow other immigrants who were drawn to freedom, and to have their own land in upstate New York in the settlement of Cherry Valley. Few settlers ventured into this region that was still a wilderness and where the French and the British were flexing their muscle to control.
