Synopsis
My wife, Yvette, and eleven other sufferers of dementia are in a memory support unit in a care center that is affiliated with a luxurious retirement home called Vi at Palo Alto, California. Gigi, a baby girl, was very often brought into the MS unit to visit her grandmother. Gigi brought joy not only to her but to others in the unit. I imagined that heaven sent an angel down to this unit and that she transformed herself into Gigi to bring some cheerfulness to this unfortunate group. The story is about Gigi's efforts to do that.

- This is the 5th book I've read now from this author John Gurley that documents some of his experiences with his wife of many years, Yvette, and her time at the Memory Support Unit at Vi in Palo Alto. She had dementia and lived in this special place, and one of the residents has a granddaughter named Gigi who spends time there and brings such joy to the people who really need it most. - Aw, what a sweet story, and Gigi is so cute! Truly an angel from heaven, as the author John Gurley explains. She is only a baby and started visiting the residents of MS at Vi when she was only 2.5 months old, and everyone just loves her... and it's easy to see why! Such a precious angel, sweet stories and cute pictures. Love it. This whole series I highly recommend to meet remarkable, strong, beautiful people.
