Take the Red Pill now to discover:
You know how it is; you go to school, go to Uni, get a girlfriend, get a job
...and then one day reality hits. This is the true story of one of those
"reality hits" moments.
The seeds of this story were planted in 2001 by a series of articles in New
Scientist magazine, entitled Time to Rethink Everything. A millennial State of
the World review detailing the problems facing global humanity in the new
century, and the possible solutions to these challenges.
It was a shocking read. When you take the time to sit down and study
up on the immensity of the global issues facing humanity it is not only overwhelming,
but terrifying. But I was as equally awed -- by the potential of the
solutions available.
Inspired, I spent time researching these topics ...before the demands of
final year exams and then working life shifted my focus back to the immediate
problems of everyday existence.
Soon, such abstracts as global poverty and global warming became as out
of mind as they were out of sight.
...some years later changes in my life had led to my decision to travel around
the world. And then one day reality hit. The abstract became the real and all
of the "Big Questions" came to the forefront of mind once again. I knew then
it really was Time to Rethink Everything; but the most pressing question to me
of all: Why?
Why had all those potential solutions discussed years ago not been implemented?
This was the question I found myself asking as arrived in Sydney,
Australia after backpacking across Asia. As I returned to western culture, my
culture, I realized that I was looking at the world in a new way.

"There is nothing more difficult to carry out, nor more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to handle, than to initiate a new order of things. For the reformer has enemies in all who profit by the old order, and only lukewarm defenders in all those who would profit by the new order. This lukewarmness arises partly from fear of their adversaries who have the law in their favor; and partly from the incredulity of mankind, who do not truly believe in anything new until they have had actual experience of it." - Nicolo Machiavelli War.
