About the Author:
Ever since she was a child she has been fascinated by stories of exotic, far away lands filled with secrets waiting to be discovered. When she was 5 years old, her family sailed the Pacific Ocean from Australia, stopping in Tahiti, crossing the Panama Canal and arriving in Venezuela. The memories of that trip continue to captivate her imagination. She grew up in Venezuela and studied architecture in Cologne, Germany. One of her passions has always been creating characters and telling stories. For many years she has worked as a children’s shoe designer. She lives in Florida with her family and her two cats, Fernando and Thomas. Thomas Templeton and the Year of the Vivificus is her first book. With this series she hopes to inspire children to learn about the wonders of the natural world.
