About the Author:

C. Scott Ryan is a writer, a poet, a painter, a potter, a musician, and an Ayurvedic Practitioner. He was an English and Philosophy Major at Dalhousie University in Halifax where he completed two years. He has been studying Ayurveda and Yoga since 1997. His articles have appeared in Parabola Magazine and Light on Ayurveda Journal – A peer reviewed Ayurvedic Medical Journal, he also wrote Ayurvedic Columns for two on-line magazines – The Yogic Way and Liv Tru. C. Scott Ryan is member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, as well as Yoga Alliance. He currently lives in British Columbia where he runs Golden Lotus Ayurveda - an Ayurvedic Clinic and Yoga Studio with his wife Dalia Yanai.
