Maybe everyone feels that way about their Mom, but my Mom was physically handicapped and suffered many hardships in her life. I tried to see these events from her perspective so I could learn how she managed to come out on top. The additional benefit of sharing these memories and research with my brother brought new joy to our relationship in spite of the 400 miles that separated us.
