Love Kills on Cornell Campus.
Based on a true story.
Pamela and Luis are two nineteen year old kids, sophomores at Cornell University. When their romance is interrupted by tragedy, a lifelong quest to uncover the truth begins. Based on real events, this exposé explores how the Colombian cartel of Pablo Escobar reared its ugly head in the middle of an American, Ivy League oasis. The mafia had families with children in college. So when the US declared, "The Cartel and its operations are a clear and present danger," what would follow in Colombia would reverberate for this young couple on their college campus. Sex, lies, and murder would ensue and a struggle for love that continues to this day. You are about to read a Latin mafia romance that will keep you guessing every step of the way. I graduated from Cornell University, the most majestic campus of the Ivy League. It's where I was first devastated by love and therefore the most obvious setting for my first tale of mystery, treachery, false imprisonment, and near death. Love in the Time of Cocaine is based on my real life experience and those who lived it with me know how much of myself I have actually chosen to expose. After Cornell, I attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine where I received a partial scholarship. Pursuing Emergency Medicine has only added steeper slopes to life's already steep rollercoaster rides. At work, I encounter exhilirating moments of yanking people away from the grips of death. I practice medicine in the State of NJ. As a student of Buddhism for the past ten years I have found tranquility in my life. It's the path to peace and joy arising from within, despite an external world fraught with rip currents swirling relentlessly at high velocities.
