A Few Words from a Poet We all have something authentic about our lives to express in our own voices from deep within our hearts. That’s what I had in mind when compiling this little ebook of poetry. I hope you enjoy it and it issues in something new for your life too. This book was intended to introduce you to the poetic style of @GonzoLecture so that you might consider the other publications in the series: "Work, Love, Fkkk, Live” by @GonzoLecture. We're all living in a modern and often incoherent age. Whilst we seek meaning and truth, much around us often appears unreasonable, frightening and baffling. This incoherence is often permitted to dominate our lives until we feel the overwhelming urge to escape. If you feel choked by making a living and taking care of responsibilities and everybody around you, then perhaps together we need to find a new way to live that is more satisfying. Though the world out there seeks to control our lives and thinking, I believe in our hearts we are all similar. Our primal drives remain the same as they were at the dawn of time, and things that frighten us, or make us joyful are often very similar. Hopefully, by reading this small selection of poems, you might experience an oasis of feeling. I hope that this experience can be shared and through it we can find strength and mutual identification together. About the Author:
I write because I like to offload how I feel about stuff I often can't do anything about: governments, injustice, tyranny, love, etc.. I write because I enjoy touching the reader with their own reactions. Feeling connects me to the moment, becomes a snapshot, a memory to revisit later and feel again. Many of my problems leave when I feel in the "now". I write because words create experiences that readers can connect to, feel identification with, personalise. I write because it makes me feel.
