Scott E. Donaldson is a graduate course professor at Johns Hopkins University in the Whiting School of Engineering. With professional experience within the fields of defense, federal, commercial, and university marketplaces and roles such as chief technology officer, IT director, and chief systems engineer, Donaldson brings deep knowledge of cybersecurity to Understanding Security Issues. Donaldson has co-authored numerous other books, such as Successful Software Development: Making it Happen, Successful Software Development: Study Guide, CTOs at Work, Enterprise Cybersecurity: How to Build a Successful Cyberdefense Program Against Advanced Threats, and more.
Chris K. Williams earned his BSE in Computer Science Engineering from Princeton University and his MS in Information Assurance from George Washington University. Williams has worked in the field of cybersecurity for over 20 years. As a veteran of the US Army, he served in the 82nd Airborne Division and the 35th Signal Brigade, working with not only the US Army but also the Defense Information Systems Agency, Department of State, Defense Intelligence Agency, and more on various cyber security projects.
Stanley Siegel is a graduate course professor of software systems engineering at John Hopkins University in the Whiting School of Engineering. With over 35 years of experience working within the US Department of Commerce, Grumman, and Sciences Applications International Corporation, as well as a PhD in nuclear physics from Rutgers University, Siegel is an expert in software engineering and technology assessment. Siegel has co-authored four software engineering books, such as Software Configuration Management: An Investment in Product Integrity and Successful Software Development: Making it Happen.
