Karen Lamoreaux is a married mother of three and a small business owner. She was thrust onto center stage of the Common Core debate when her testimony opposing this controversial reform, given before the Arkansas State Board of Education, went viral. Since then, Karen has been interviewed on Fox and Friends, the Willis Report on Fox Business, the Glenn Beck Show, and the Pat & Stu radio show, as well as local television and radio networks around the nation. She travels regularly educating parents and legislators about the realities of Common Core and working toward its repeal. Karen advocates for the preservation of parental rights as well as state rights in education. Karen is a board member of Arkansas Against Common Core. She and her family live in Maumelle, Arkansas.
