Cristo is a United States Marine. After the war in Iraq, he returns to a volatile home-life in San Diego. He is then incarcerated and deported to Tijuana. About the Author
Captain Juan Carlos Mercado is a United States Army and "Operation Desert Storm" Combat Infantry Veteran, and a San Diego County Sheriff's Department Detentions Deputy. He grew up in Mexicali, Tijuana, and San Diego, and speaks English, Spanish, and German. Recently, he has become a voice for American Veterans deported to Tijuana, Mexico, and wants to be the voice for Deported Veterans all around the world. With "Fate of a Deported Veteran," he wants to inform everyone about his goal to return all Deported Veterans to the United States of America. Please, help him bring them home.
