LINDA WHITTINGTON HURST, Ed.D., lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana with her husband Don. An animal lover, Linda has a funny-looking dog named Indiana, three cats and an Arabian mare named Selah. Having loved anything creative as a child, Linda used her creativity as a teacher to excite and engage her elementary students. Linda is currently a college professor at a state university in Louisiana. In her spare time, Linda enjoys writing for children. She now has published several children’s books, including the award-winning picture book entitled, The Adventures of Red Feather: Wild Horse of Corolla.
