Anna Margolina, PhD, was born in Russia. Graduating from the Russian Medical University in 1986, she went on to get her PhD in biology in 1999 while working as a science consultant and editor for the Russian journal Cosmetics & Medicine. In 2001 she and her family moved to the United States, where she began working as a science consultant to cosmetics companies.
Since childhood Margolina has struggled with severe stuttering. A constant limitation to her life and career, it wasn’t until 2009 that she began the journey of overcoming her speech impediment. Today Margolina is an inspirational speaker and amateur improviser. Trained in the art of hypnosis, NLP, and other healing modalities, she now has a private practice in the Seattle area and also works with international clients over the Internet.
Margolina currently lives in Sammamish, Washington, with her husband, twin daughters, and son.
