Synopsis

If he doesn't choose what's right, there may be nothing left.

The adventure just got epic. With the Greyson Gray Series, you've come to expect "exciting, gritty action at its best" and "well-crafted storytelling." But in this "chilling" third installment, you can expect "ambiance, exotic sets, sinking ships, loyal dogs, and even a hurricane" as "talented writer" B. C. Tweedt "pulls out all the stops." If you thought the first two books were intense, funny, and thought-provoking, Deadfall will blow your mind.

After an unbelievable attack leaves the nation reeling, the FBI forces Greyson and his friends into seclusion, where they must deal with the heart-wrenching memories of the attack while hiding from vicious enemies bent on revenge. But Greyson can't hide for long. A new hope spurs him on as he escapes and travels across the country, stopping at nothing to find his father. When his plans unravel, he must survive as a fugitive, hunted by terrorists in an increasingly hostile and divided country, aided only by the contents of his fanny pack, a stray dog, and his ceaseless daring spirit.

Greyson's adventure explodes with an epic journey, frightening battles, and a soul-searching tale of survival that brings him face to face with a dangerous world that is not always what it seems. Greyson must fight harder than he has ever fought before to prevent another terrifying plot that no one sees coming - a Deadfall.

Parents love this series for Greyson's interminable determination to do what is right and good - no matter the costs. In a world full of grays, they find his passion refreshing - and worth emulating. While Deadfall cranks the action dial, it is also "punctuated with deeper messages" and coming-of-age themes that parents will appreciate. Boys and girls, from ages 9-12 (preteen), to middle-grade, young adults and beyond will love Greyson's heroics, Jarryd's humorous antics, and the thrilling suspense as each new mystery brings the squad closer to the truth behind the chaos.

If you or your child isn't hooked already, they will be after reading Deadfall! Get the whole series today!

About this title

About the Author

The gist: B.C. longs to edify and entertain the next generation, all while staying behind the scenes. While he initially wanted to direct movies, he now writes them in the form of novels. He loved reading as a child, especially the Animorphs, Goosebumps, and Left Behind series, so it is a joy for him to give young readers another beloved series to add to their bookshelves.

Other random bits of tid:

Favorite Food: Wings. Bone-in, with traditional sauce. Buffalo Wild Wings (B-dubs) is the best!  Bacon is a close second.
Favorite Drink: Dr. Pepper, though any pop/soda/cola is delicious!
Favorite Movie: Saving Private Ryan or the Indiana Jones Trilogy (he still pretends it's a trilogy).
Favorite Book: The Bible. His favorite fiction, though, is currently the Enemy series by Charlie Higson.
Favorite Place: Texas. He was born in Dallas and has been an unashamed Cowboys fan ever since.  It was easier in the 90's.
Other: He loves first person shooter video games, The Walking Dead, and sunshine!
