His other books include Understanding Global Migration (Stanford, 2022).. Philip L. Martin is Professor Emeritus of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Chair of the University of California Comparative Immigration & Integration Program at the University of California, Davis. Pia M. Orrenius is Vice President and Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. François Héran is Professor at the Collège de France, where he holds the chair in Migrations and Societies.
