Synopsis
The book describes life as a timeless journey of discovery through the infinite dimensions of the mind. Narrated as an epic battle between the imaginary foes of light (knowledge) and shadows (ignorance) where the only results of this battle is suffering, created by the wounds (emotions) of the conflict.
The battle takes place in the multidimensional nature of the mind which is depicted as a Magical Mirror where consciousness of our subconsciously created Universe is obtained. The wounds (emotions) of the conflict distort the original pure reflection (light) of the mirror into the infinite arrays of darkness the mind discovers in its inner journey.
The epic poem of this odyssey Is recorded in the historic archives of our Spiritual and biological DNA, where the code of healing the emotional scars of the wounded warriors, Forgiveness, is hidden. The final goal of the initial journey is to remember the coordinates to return in our time machine (mind) to our source (Magic Mirror) with all the wisdom we have discovered in our journey. This retracing of our experience is only possible when the inner and outer battles are pacified by recognizing that light (knowledge) and Darkness (ignorance) are just complimentary tonalities of the infinite hues of Love.

About the Author
After graduating from the School of Medicine of the University of PR, Dr. Figueroa-Otero trains as General Surgeon at the University Hospital of the UPR, finished post-graduatestudies in Pediatric Surgeryat Miami Children's Hospital.
Looking for non-surgical or less invasive options for pediatric conditions, Dr.Figueroa-Otero explores Eastern philosophies that emphasize a holistic concept.He was one of the first physicians to become certified in medical acupuncture in Puerto Rico,
In 2009 he retired from the practice of pediatric surgery, focusing instead on a comprehensive medical practice and emphasizing disease prevention and modifying lifestyles.In 2011 he was invited to become a Trustee of the American Board of Medical Acupuncture, which is the national body responsible for certifying physicians.
Currently engaged in his private practice, Dr. Figueroa-Otero continues in his role as an educator, trying to achieve full integration of traditional Chinese acupuncture courses in the curriculum of medical schools. Another immediate priority is to incorporate meditation techniques and their role in preventive and therapeutic medicine.
Dr. Figueroa-Otero is the author of the School of Life Trilogy, with two previous books: Spirituality 101For the Dropouts of the School of Life. and Spirituality 1.2 For the Disconnected from the School of Life. Both received awards from institutions like the Benjamin Franklin Award, NIEA Award, Readers Favorite, Beverly Hills Award, and USA Best Book Awards.
