About the Author

While studying physics in college, Jade wrote romance novels under a pen name to pay her way. She discovered that she was not only a very good writer, she loved writing more than science--more than anything, really, except maybe animals and sports (her favorite sports being soccer, football, and basketball.) Jade's love of sports has led to a hobby in DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports.) She also trains in MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) to keep her mind and body sharp. Born in Romania, Jade often travels back to her country of origin to visit family and friends, but she's proud to be an American.

An opportunity to go into modeling took Jade away from her university life (though she is presently finishing her degree via a low-residency program.) She moved into New York City, where she lives in a spacious Tribeca loft with her best friend.

Jade loves animals and owns several, including two horses, a rabbit, a fish, and her best friend, a Siberian husky, named Vanessa. Vanessa inspired a love of wolves in Jade, which led to the development of her first novel for young adults, Weresisters, written with YA author, Shelley Stoehr. Jade's love of science led her to pen a second novel, I Am Titanium, written with popular author, John Patrick Kennedy. Her next project is an NA series, with the first installment, coming soon!
