About the Authors

Jim Herrington is a leadership coach and consultant, author, husband, father, and grandfather. His passion is helping leaders develop their capacity to live a fully human, fully alive life. He is the coauthor of three books on organizational change and leadership. Jim has a doctor of ministry degree from Houston Graduate School of Theology, and he speaks regularly at conferences across the US and Canada. More information is available at theleadersjourney.us.

Mike Bonem is a consultant, coach, author, husband, and father. He has worked with churches, ministries, and Christian leaders for over twenty years, offering a unique blend of world-class consulting and leadership experience that enables clients to turn their visions into results. Mike has written extensively on ministry leadership, served for over a decade as an executive pastor, and equipped ministry leaders throughout the country. His books include Leading from the Second Chair and Leading Congregational Change (both Fortress Press).

James H. Furr is an educator, trainer, and consultant for faith-based leaders and organizations. He currently serves as president of Houston Graduate School of Theology, where he is also Professor of Church and Culture. Graduate and undergraduate teaching areas at HGST and other institutions include Christian leadership, culture and context, missional theology, Christian ethics, and spiritual formation.
