Jim Reeves has spent a lifetime studying and teaching the Bible. Raised on a dairy farm in northwest Arkansas, he was deeply influenced by his mother's lifelong desire to understand Scripture. He graduated from York College and continued his studies in Bible and music at David Lipscomb University. He later earned a BA in Organizational Management from Concordia University.

During his professional career in the oil and gas industry, Jim lived and worked among people from different countries and cultures. Throughout those years, he remained actively involved in local churches, preaching, leading worship, and teaching Bible classes.

Now retired, Jim continues the pursuit that began in his childhood: studying the Scriptures to understand what they actually say and sharing what he has learned with others.

Jim Reeves was born in Amarillo, Texas and grew up on a dairy farm in Northwest Arkansas. He has had a successful career in the oil and gas industry while remaining very involved as a speaker, teacher, worship leader, and author in the church. He has worked in several countries around the world, giving him a unique insight into how the Word of God relates to people in every culture. Jim is a graduate of York College, studied Bible and music at David Lipscomb University and holds a BA in organizational management from Concordia University. He and his wife are currently retired, living in Texas.
