From the Author

As a children's book author, my goal is to inspire a love of reading by creating characters that kids will relate to.  Peanut Butter & Pumpernickel was inspired by my love of animals and nature, however, by incorporating challenging words and tongue twisters, I hope to have kids running for the computer to look up the meaning of the words they don't know.  It's never too soon to challenge young minds with advanced grammar and vocabulary.  I hope you enjoy it! - Karen J. Karen J. Roberts has her BA degree in English from Syracuse University and has spent her professional career in Healthcare Information Technology. An avid animal lover and pet owner her whole life, her true passion is animal advocacy. As a writer, humane educator, animal rescue volunteer, animal rights advocate, and vegan, Karen feels a deep connection to a cruelty-free lifestyle and believes each of us can make choices that contribute to a more compassionate world for all living creatures.
