Synopsis
There’s a cultural war raging between Secularists and Biblicists over what constitutes truth. THE ANSWER: Solving the Science-Bible Problem analyzes the two sides of the controversy. It proposes a solution to the problem that keeps faith with the Bible and also the integrity of science. The three reasons for conflicts between scientific and biblical truths are identified and explained. 1. Problem of interpretation 2. Problem of human limitation. 3. Problem of scientific agnosticism A clear path to a reconciliation of physical and biblical truths, free of scientific and theological terminology, is marked out for the reader to follow. About the Author
Doctor Wana Archer lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife, Sammie. He is semi-retired after 47 years as a Baptist minister. He served congregations in Illinois, Ohio and Oklahoma. Archer is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Ohio State University, where he received a Ph.D. degree in adult education. For several years Dr. Archer maintained the internet website, Sermonhandbook.com, which provided preaching and pastoring resources for ministers. He has an extensive background in teaching, having served as facilitator for seminary master level courses, and as an adjunct instructor of Philosophy and Humanities for Tulsa Community College. Dr. Archer is active in the Tulsa Metro Baptist Network, a Tulsa area association of churches. He and his wife are members of South Tulsa Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
