While the former is governance by adopting electronic means of communication, the latter can be taken to mean governance by corruption. We have some examples to understand how this type of governance works and how sanity and fairness are discounted in favor of dishonesty and duplicity. Corruption and greed dominate most of the democracies in the world. Even for discharging normal duties, officials who draw salary from the exchequer, resort to extraction of benefits from the recipients of services. This takes the form of cash, gifts, funding personal bills, perquisites, funding admissions, sponsorship etc. The list is exhaustive. The tentacles of C governance spread far and wide and it becomes difficult to pull them out from their strongholds. It is a welcome sign, a silver lining, that a few business schools have started realizing the relevance of this ancient scripture for human excellence. The world will witness faster and substantial progress if all business schools and institutions teach and imbibe the art of man making.
