With the help of family and friends, she is able to work through her grief and keep her daddy's memory alive through unique and meaningful ideas. Our hope and prayer is that Sophia's journey toward healing will help other children work through their time of loss, and keep the memory of their loved ones alive.

About the Author:
Norma and Allison have had a 30 year friendship...a journey that started in the fourth grade. They had always had a strong desire to write children’s books, but never had something that captured their hearts enough to write a story about...until the tragic day that Norma suddenly lost her husband. With Mike’s death, Norma was left with a four-year-old daughter, Sophia, as well as their unborn son, Tanner, to raise. When Allison, family, and friends searched for books to help Sophia, and eventually Tanner, to cope with the death of their father, there simply was nothing available for young children. In that moment, they realized that this was their calling. There was such a huge support group in place for Sophia and Tanner to help keep Mike’s memory alive, and Norma and Allison knew they needed to share these ideas with other children grieving the loss of a loved one. Their hearts and souls are so enveloped in this book because losing someone close to you is hard enough, but as a child, the confusion that sets in can be life altering. Their wish for this book is that these ideas will help numerous other children cope with loss the way they helped Norma’s children. Thank you for reading, and God bless.
