Amy Wilson has a background in journalism and lives in Bristol with her young family. She is a graduate of the Bath Spa MA in Creative Writing. A Girl Called Owl was longlisted for the Branford Boase Award, nominated for the Carnegie Medal and shortlisted for a number of regional awards. A Far Away Magic, her second novel with Macmillan Children's Books is out now.
